May 4 marks Star Wars Day

(CNN, KYMA) - Monday is May 4, and for "Star Wars" fans, it's a day they have waited for all year long.

May the Fourth be with you is a take on that classic "Star Wars" line, "May the Force be with you."

On this Star Wars Day, many people are looking forward to the release of the latest movie in the franchise, "The Mandalorian and Grogu." Pedro Pascal and Sigourney Weaver will star in the film. It comes out May 22.

It will be the first "Star Wars" film to hit movie theaters since "Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker' in 2019, and it won't be the last as "Star Wars: Starfighter" hits movie theaters next year.

The film will star Ryan Gosling.
