Conan O’Brien to host Oscars again next year
(CNN, KYMA/KECY) - Conan O'Brien's Oscar-hosting job was so popular, he's been tapped for a repeat performance next year.
The Academy made the announcement Monday following O'Brien's hit hosting duties earlier this month.
The comedian and former late-night host joked the only reason he's hosting again is to hear Adrien Brody finish his speech.
Brody gave a record-breakingly long speech after winning the 2025 Best Actor Oscar for "The Brutalist."
This year's Oscar ceremony was a crowd pleaser as the live show attracted nearly 20 million viewers, a five-year high.
The 2026 Oscars is scheduled for Sunday, March 15.
