Large brush fire burns east of Yuma

YUMA COUNTY, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - A large brush fire erupts east of Yuma on Levee Road Tuesday night.

Chief Woodruff of Rural Metro said the first call came in at 8 p.m.

The brush fire has burned roughly 20 acres.

Rural Metro Fire is on the scene with two engines and a water tanker.

State land and the Bureau of Land Management are going to assist with the fire.

There are no structures in danger and no one is injured at this time.

The cause of the fire is unknown.
