Two men survive a small plane crash that caught fire in Texas

TEXAS (NBC, KYMA) - Two men escaped without injuries after a plane crashed and caught fire in Texas Friday afternoon.

This happened just before 2 p.m. near Boerne Stage field.

According to the Bexar County Sheriff's Office, the aircraft struck a utility pole after going down.

Both men on board got out of the aircraft on their own, and fire crews extinguished the flames.

CPS Energy responded to handle the damaged utility pole.

Meanwhile, the FAA and NTSB will investigate the crash.
