YUMA, Ariz. (NBC, KYMA) - The City of Yuma Parks and Recreation hosted their annual Youth Outdoor Expo.

Saturday morning kids got the chance to try all different kinds of outdoor activities to introduce them to non-traditional sports.

The event gave kids a chance to try something new such as fishing, archery and even bb gun shooting.

Organizers say they hope this event gives kids a new experience they will never forget.

Organizers say this event helps get children involved in group activities that do not include teen sports.
