Weather Authority/ KYMA

Tracking a weather system to bring in some clouds and winds for Thursday. But a quick warm-up will move in, heating up our temperatures for the weekend.

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA) - Happy Wednesday, we made it to the middle of the week. Temperatures are a little warmer today and back in the 90s, but this is actually pretty seasonable for this time of year.

Going into the evening, it will be a calm and quiet evening with pleasant temperatures. Nice weather to spend some time on the patio.

A weak low-pressure system will pass through the Desert Southwest on Thursday, bringing in some stronger winds.

As for rain, it's not looking very likely as chances have really dropped. More of that moisture is favoring further east.

Stronger winds will impact some areas on Thursday. Winds will be coming from the west with gusts 15-30 MPH. Gusiter winds will be further west and in the Ocotillo.

Take a look below at our future wind gusts map.

For the final days of April, we will be staying in the 90s and warm, but we are going to start off the month of May with more unseasonable temperatures. Highs will climb into the upper 90s by this weekend.

Tracking cooler temperatures and some winds for next week.
