Tracking seasonable temperatures and breezy conditions

Temperatures will be cool, and it will still be a little breezy at times. Another weather system will be passing through later this week, which will cool down our temperatures again and bring in more winds this weekend.

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA-TV)- Last night was pretty gusty. We had strong west/northwest winds. Take a look at our wind recap from last night. Stronger winds were in El Centro, with their highest gust at 45 MPH.

Happy Earth Day! Today has been a great day with near-average temperatures.

Going into the evening, we will have mostly clear skies, cool temperatures and light winds for us here in Yuma County. Nice weather to spend time outdoors.

Tracking stronger winds to favor in Imperial County through the evening. Gusts could peak up to 30 MPH with patchy blowing dust being possible. But it won't be as gusty as last night.

Another weather system will be passing through the north later this week, which will keep our temperatures cool along with breezy conditions by the weekend.

Temperatures will be nice and seasonable for the next few days. We will warm to the 90s just on Friday, only to cool back down into the 80s by the weekend. Tracking more winds to also return by the weekend.
