It's National Pancake Day! We have a nice evening with calmer winds and cool temperatures. It will be slightly humid with dew points in the 50s. So go enjoy a nice stack of pancakes for dinner. We could also see storms or showers pop up later in the evening. I will keep an eye out for that.

An area of low pressure is here, which is the reason for the cooler temperatures, but it will also bring in higher moisture, leading to rain and storm potential later this weekend.

Rain accumulation is looking light for some, with totals between a tenth and up to a half of an inch. Heavier rainfall is favoring the far east. If any thunderstorms develop, higher amounts are possible.

Temperatures will be in the upper 80s Saturday, and then we will continue to stay in the low 90s through early next week.

A Weather Authority First Alert ACTION Day is issued due to rain and storms for Saturday afternoon/evening. It's important for us to be ready and alert if any heavy rain does take place.
We will have clearer, drier, and warmer temperatures moving back in to kick off the month of October. Plenty of sunshine and seasonable daytime highs will be in the forecast for Tacos and Tunes next weekend.
