Jury selection begins in Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs trial
(CNN, KYMA/KECY) - Jury selection began Monday in the New York trial of Sean 'Diddy' Combs.
He's charged with racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking, and transportation to engage in prostitution. If convicted on all counts, he could get life in prison.
Combs, who has been held without bail since September, has pleaded not guilty to all charges.
He also faces dozens of related civil suits as well and denies all of those allegations as well.
Last week, Combs rejected a plea deal in his case.
The trial is taking place in Manhattan's federal court and is expected to last eight to 10 weeks.
