Stronger winds for Thanksgiving

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY-TV) - We are officially one day away until Thanksgiving!

For our Thanksgiving eve temperatures are a little warmer today, but near our seasonal average of 74 degrees with clear and calm conditions for the rest of tonight.

Strong winds from the North will start to arrive early tomorrow morning where gusts are expected to peak up to 30 MPH or even stronger at times.

Be aware winds will be a main factor for Thanksgiving day so if you plan on traveling be aware blowing dust is possible.

Heading out of town for the holiday, here's a look at weather conditions in Phoenix, Flagstaff, and San Diego.

Staying in town for the holiday, temperatures will be cool with lingering winds for our Friday.

Get ready for a major cool down and an increase in rain chances for next week.
