Calexico police looking for suspect asking minors for sexual acts

CALEXICO, Calif. (KYMA, KECY) - The Calexico Police Department is looking for a suspect accused of trying to get minors to perform sexual acts with him in his car.

Calexico police officers say they received information regarding a driver in a blue vehicle honking at a male juvenile on the 100 block of E. Birch Street.

The incident happened earlier this month on Sept. 6.

According to police, the driver told the juvenile he needed a sexual favor and if he could assist him.

The victim refused as the driver kept insisting.

The juvenile was able to walk away in the opposite direction as the driver drove away.
