Agents rescue injured migrant in Jacumba Wilderness

OCOTILLO, Calif. (KYMA, KECY) - A press release from U.S. Customs and Border Protection says agents rescued a distressed undocumented immigrant in the Jacumba Wilderness.

On Thursday at about 6:45 p.m., agents were notified about a lost migrant who had a possible leg injury.

Agents were able to locate the migrant through their last known GPS coordinates and saw the migrant was in need of medical assistance.

The migrant was then taken to a nearby hospital and will be taken into custody once he's released.
