Kofa High Alum breaks silence, following attempted murder accusations

(KYMA, KECY) - Former UFC heavyweight champion had a plea hearing on Tuesday, April 12, where he was granted continuance until May 6.

Cain Velasquez was previously denied bail in March and was denied bail once again during his hearing.

Velasquez was arrested in February 2022 for attempting to a murder a man who was charged with molesting one of the former champion's relatives.

On April 12, he also made a statement regarding the attempted murder case.



Velasquez could be facing up to 20 years in prison if found guilty of all charges.
