Embry Health to begin charging for COVID-19 testing

PHOENIX (KYMA, KECY) - Embry Health has announced it will be charging uninsured patients for COVID-19 testing due to a lack of funding.

Coronavirus testing has been free from Embry Health since the beginning of the pandemic but a change in the HRSA program will have the organization charge $100 for Antibody testing.

Those without insurance will be charged if they are in Arizona, Texas, Oklahoma, Florida, New Mexico and Washington.

The fee can be paid while scheduling an appointment on their website or in-person.
