Supreme Court blocks Navy from discharging unvaccinated members

(KYMA, KECY) - The Supreme Court has temporarily blocked an order requiring the Navy to deploy unvaccinated members.

Special Operations Forces, including more than two dozen Navy Seals, challenged the Biden Administration's COVID-19 vaccine mandate on religious grounds.

Under the court order, these members will not be actively deployed or punished for being unvaccinated.

A district court had originally ruled against the Administration's mandate.

Then a federal appeals court declined to step in.
