YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - The Yuma Police Department is advising of a potential outage for cell phone users with Verizon.

The technical issue is not allowing users to call 9-1-1 in an emergency.

The caller is hearing the 'busy' line.

If there is an emergency, call YPD dispatch directly at 928-783-4421.

This number is operational 24 hours a day.
