City of San Luis Senior Center to close until further notice due to COVID case
SAN LUIS, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - The San Luis Senior Center is closing temporarily due to a positive COVID-19 case.
A positive Coronavirus test was reported to City of San Luis staff and a decision was made to close the senior center to prevent the spread.
Necessary precautions were put in place to keep staff safe.
“While it saddens us to close the San Luis Senior Center once again, the well-being and health of our most vulnerable continue to be our main priority,” Mayor Gerardo Sanchez said. “While the infection rate and positive test rates are going down, I encourage all community members to remain cautious."
