MUST-SEE VIDEO: San Luis Border Breach

ILLEGAL ENTRY INTO YUMA COUNTY CAUGHT ON CAMERA

SAN LUIS, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - A group of people tried to rush through the gatehouse entrance to Mexico into San Luis, Arizona Friday evening around 7:30.

Brenda Lee, a witness traveling to Mexico with her boyfriend, witnessed the border breach.

She told CBS13's Cody Lee, that, "the large group started running through the Gatehouse [Entrance] into the United States." Thinking quickly, she pulled out her phone and recorded everything she could.

In the footage, individuals are clearly visible running in between cars, doing whatever they can to avoid getting caught.

No other word from law enforcement on whether anyone was detained or arrested.

The witness told News 11, she saw at least 20 people running.

Our team has reached out to Customs Border Protection and other agencies that have a presence on the border. However, we are still waiting to hear back.
