MUST-SEE VIDEO: Babysitter hits toddler

Surveillance camera captures multiple strikes

COLUMBUS, Ohio. (KYMA, KECY/NBC) - A baby-sitter has been arrested for hitting the child she was supposed to be caring for… and it was all caught on camera.

The mother and father of a 20-month-old girl noticed their daughter was acting different. So, they set up a camera to record home activities while they were at work.

Footage shows the toddler getting up from a nap, and trying see what the sitter is watching on a phone, whom then hits her multiple times.

She didn't even cry.

The camera started rolling on April 26. This incident was caught two days later.

Local police arrested the babysitter and charged her in Franklin County with endangering a child and abuse, both misdemeanors.
