ECPD find 268 pounds of meth in traffic stop

EL CENTRO, Calif. (KYMA, KECY) - Police said a man is arrested after carrying 268 pounds of methamphetamine.

The El Centro Police Department said officers stopped the vehicle for speeding. When police made contact with the driver, the officer noticed four strange duffel bags. The officer's canine, Jax, alerted to the vehicle and the bags.

After police searched the vehicle, they found the bags of meth. They say the suspect is facing felony charges for transportation of a controlled substance.
