Daily COVID-19 updates in Sonora

HERMOSILLO, Sonora (KYMA, KECY)-Sonora reports 114 new COVID-19 cases along with 17 new deaths.

On Wednesday, health officials say there are now 2,818 cases in Sonora along with 241 deaths.

The new cases were reported in the following cities; Hermosillo 36, Cajeme 21, Navojoa 20, Nogales 20, San Luis Rio Colorado 5, Santa Ana 3, Alamos 3, Benito Juarez 2, San Miguel de Horcasitas 1, Etchojoa 1, Mazatan 1, Caborca 1.

The new deaths were reported in; San Luis Rio Colorado 5, Cajeme 4, Hermosillo 3, Navojoa 2, Nogales 2, Caborca 1.

As of Wednesday, 5,850 patients have been tested, 3,032 patients tested negative, 334 patients have recovered, 1,983 patients have mild symptoms, 260 patients remain hospitalized, 153 patients are in serious condition.
