REXBURG, Idaho (KYMA, KECY)-Police in Idaho found a cellphone belonging to 17-year-old Tylee Ryan, who along with her 7-year-old brother has not been seen since September 2019.

According to CBS News, the phone was found in Hawaii, in the mother, Lori Vallow's possession. Reports say Vallow is a person of interest in the case.

CBS News says Idaho police conducted a welfare check on Lori and her new husband Chad Daybell in November. However, they were found in Hawaii in January.

According to reports, a month after the 17-year-old disappeared, a text was sent from her phone to a friend saying, " hi. miss you guys too …Luv ya."

Police say they discovered Ryan's phone abandoned inside a storage facility.

Both Lori Vallow and Daybell's former spouse, as well as Vallow's brother, died under what authorities call suspicious circumstances over the past eight months.
