Level 2 sex offender in Yuma

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY)- The Yuma County Sheriff's Office (YCSO) is notifying the community of a new Level 2 sex offender living at the 11000 block of E. 24th Place in Yuma.

YCSO says 21-year-old Noah Thompson, pled guilty/no contest on January 9, 2020, to five counts of Attempted Sexual Exploitation of a Minor.

Thompson was placed on lifetime supervised probation.

YCSO says his victims were under the age of 15 and were unknown to him.

Thompson is described as 5 feet, 11 inches tall, 188 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes. At this time he is not wanted by YCSO.

However, he is considered a level 2 sex offender with a medium risk to re-offend.
