Missing Fort Bragg soldier wife asking for more help

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (NBC, KYMA) - The wife of a Charlottesville, Virginia soldier, who disappeared from Fort Bragg, says she believes more could be done to find her husband.

It's now been two weeks, the army says, since specialist Sayveon Anderson was last seen at Fort Bragg. Now, his wife, Jasmyne Mowry, who's nine months pregnant with their first child, is speaking publicly.

"Why have cameras not been checked? Who's last seen him? Who was that person? Have they been questioned? Why wasn't things done before everything started hitting the internet?" asked Mowry.

Anderson is five-feet, ten-inches tall, weighs 260 pounds, and has a chipped front tooth and a scar on his left arm.

His wife also says he has tattoos behind both ears, and a tattoo on his upper left shoulder that says "Jasmyne."

His wife is pushing for a wider search effort and more urgency because she believes every hour matters.

In the meantime, they're asking everyone to keep sharing this story and to come forward with any tip that could help bring Anderson home.
