Fatal shooting at Canada festival

TORONTO (NBC, KYMA) - Two people have died and at least 4 others have been injured in Toronto, Canada at The Salsa on Saint Clair Street Festival, Saturday night.

Around 8:12 p.m. local time, police said they received a call about a shooting on St. Clair avenue west near Arlington avenue.

When police arrived they found several people suffering from gunshot wounds, two were pronounced dead on the scene.

Toronto police located a total of 4 people who were injured during the shooting. The extent of their injuries were not immediately known.

Police are still looking for a gunman and have not yet released a description of the shooter, two firearms were recovered on the scene.

The event is known as Canada's number 1 "Latino-themed cultural celebration" that attracts hundreds of thousands of people over the course of two days.
