Students injured after school bus crash in North Carolina

LELAND, N.C. (NBC, KYMA) - Four people are injured, including two students, after a school bus crash in North Carolina.

The crash happened Wednesday morning as the bus was carrying students and staff from Fayetteville High.

33 people were on board the Cumberland County Schools bus; 26 students and seven adults from Douglas Byrd High School.

The bus was returning from a seven-on-seven football match-up against South Brunswick.

Police have reported two adults and two children were injured in the crash. At this point, their injuries do not appear to be life-threatening.

Leland police say the cause of the crash remains under investigation.
