Fatal shooting in Florida Walmart parking lot

NORTH LAUDERDALE, Fla. (NBC, KYMA) - An argument over a parking space at Walmart leaves one man dead in North Lauderdale, Florida.

A camera on a Tesla parked near by caught the encounter on video.

The camera shows a woman and a man allegedly arguing over a parking spot. The two were arguing for a little more than a minute before a single shot was fired striking 62-year-old Bart Diguglielmo.

Diguglielmo was taken to the hospital where he later died from the shooting.

One witness also recorded video of the shooting on his phone, and it appears the woman says, "Walk away" before pulling the trigger.

Detectives say the woman told them she shot the man in self-defense.

At this time, she is not charged with any crime.

Detectives will present this case to the state attorney's office who will determine if the woman will be charged in the shooting.
