Airport in Massachusetts opens remote terminal

FRAMINGHAM, Mass. (CBS, KYMA) - A first of its kind remote terminal opened for Logan Airport Monday in Framingham, Massachusetts.

Travelers are now able to go through TSA screening at the site 23 miles from Logan Airport. They take a bus to the airport in a service described as "straight to the gate."

Right now, only passengers who have flights between 5:30 a.m. and 4 p.m. on JetBlue or Delta can use the remote terminal.

TSA Pre-Check is available as well as bag screening. JetBlue tells WBZ that passengers will be dropped off at Logan ramp-side.
