Windy rainstorm moves through northern Indiana

MISHAWAKA, Ind. (CBS, KYMA) - Wind-driven rain lashed down as severe thunderstorms moved through northern Indiana on May 18.

Footage captured in Mishawaka by Josh Briggs shows strong winds pushing sheets of rain, and Briggs can be heard saying "Yikes."

The National Weather Service issued severe thunderstorm warnings for parts of northern Indiana as the storm system moved through.

News outlets in the area reported power outages and hazardous driving conditions in several areas.
