Arson suspect sets himself on fire at cannabis outlet in Michigan

MONROE, Mich. (CBS, KYMA) - CCTV footage captured the moment a masked man set himself on fire during an alleged arson attack at a cannabis dispensary in Monroe, Michigan during the early hours of Sunday.

Security footage, shared with Storyful by Pure Cannabis Outlet, shows a SUV ramming the business, tearing down a wall at about 1:05 a.m. Eastern.

Two suspected arsonists are then seen inside the store, with one pouring gasoline on the counters and the other pulling items from shelves.

After igniting the fuel, a fireball erupts inside the business and flames engulf one of the suspect's feet and right hand.

Another angle shows the pair fleeing through the parking lot, with the flames on one of the suspects dissipating as he makes a run for it.

According to news reports, the shop is offering a $25,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of the pair.
