(NBC) - The Artemis II crew is on their journey back to Earth following the historic lunar flyby.

Homeward bound after a history-making trip to the moon and back, and bringing home more stunning photographs of their trip.

The Artemis II crew, in their Orion spaceship, packing and reviewing procedures for their fiery return to Earth.

NASA mission managers say the crews' lives depend on everything going right.
