Ceiling collapse allows SWAT team in Florida to apprehend suspect

SEBASTIAN, Fla. (CBS, KYMA) - A man hiding from police in Sebastian, Florida crashed through the ceiling of a house, and right into the custody of the SWAT team chasing him.

Footage released by the Indian River County Sheriff's Office shows the suspect, 37-year-old Keith Rodgers, break through the ceiling, with his legs dangling, before he's handcuffed.

The sheriff's office said Rodgers had barricaded himself inside the home on November 3 after being spotted in a stolen truck on an earlier date.

Rodgers was taken into custody and charged with grand theft auto and resisting an officer without violence.
