Space-X Crew-10’s Dragon capsule docks at ISS

(NBC, KYMA/KECY) - The Space-X Crew-10's Dragon capsule docked with the International Space Station (ISS) just after midnight.

A Falcon-9 rocket carried the spacecraft into orbit Friday night, and the capsule completed its long journey very early Sunday morning as the capsule slowly approached and connected with the ISS as it passed about 260 statute miles over the Atlantic Ocean.

Shortly afterwards, the hatch was opened and the four person crew was welcomed aboard.

The number of crew about the space station now stands at 11. That is until Crew-9, including Suni Williams and Butch Wilmore, depart the station in a few days to return to Earth.

Crew-10 Commander NASA astronaut Anne McClain described the journey as "incredible."
