Kansas City Chiefs advance to Super Bowl LVII, fans celebrate

KANSAS CITY, Miss. (NBC, KYMA/KECY) - Thousands celebrated in Kansas City Sunday night as the Chiefs earned a spot in Super Bowl LVII.

The Kansas City Chiefs defeated the Cincinnati Bengals Sunday night 23 to 20.

They will then face off against the Philadelphia Eagles in Arizona on February 12 for the Super Bowl.

This is the third overall Super Bowl in four years for the Chiefs; anchored by quarterback Patrick Mahomes and head coach Andy Reid.

Kansas City previously won the Super Bowl in 2020, beating out the San Francisco 49ers.
