Two people suffered injuries in a Georgia mall shooting

DEKALB COUNTY, Geor. (NBC) - A teenager suffered injured in a shooting at a mall in Georgia's DeKalb County on Saturday.

This happened just before 2:30pm at Stonecrest Mall.

At the scene, police found a 14-year-old boy with a gunshot wound to his lower leg.

Initial reports suggest that the gunshot wound may have been self-inflicted.

The teen then went to a local hospital for treatment.

In addition, another woman suffered minor injuries as a result of a crowd of people, fleeing from the scene.

The mall then evacuated as a precaution, but reopened at 4:00pm.

An investigation with the DeKalb County Police Department Assault Detectives is ongoing.
