Shooting occurred at a North Carolina mall Friday night

GREENVILLE, N.C. (NBC) - Two men are recovering after someone shot them at a North Carolina mall Friday night.

For further context, the shooting happened at around 6:30pm at the Greenville mall in Greenville.

Furthermore, the victims traveled to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Police said they do not believe the incident was a random act.

Rather, "This was a dispute that occurred in the mall," Major David Bowen of Greenville PD spoke.

In addition, it is unclear if there was more than one suspect involved.

Officials said the mall cleared out for the investigation and will reopen on Sunday.
