Starbucks to phase out its iconic cups by 2025

(KYMA, KECY/CNN) - Starbucks is planning to no longer offer cups and instead, have customers bring in their own.

The iconic coffee cup is recyclable but they're not always ending up where they're supposed to be.

Starbucks says it wants to implement customers bringing their own cups by 2025.

Customers would be able to bring a mug, borrow a ceramic cup or buy a to-go mug.
