Yuma City Hall to close on Fourth of July holiday

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - The Yuma City Hall will be closed on Tuesday, July 4. This is in observance to the Fourth of July holiday.

In a press release, trash collection in residential areas will be changed due to the holiday. Trash collection that's usually on Tuesdays will take place on Wednesday, July 5. Fortunately, the Monday route will remain in place. In addition, the City of Yuma says that curbside recycling pickups will take place as usual.

The City of Yuma also noted that the annulal Independence Day Fireworks Spectacular will take place at Ray Kroc Sports Complex and Desert Sun Stadium from 6:00pm till 10:00pm, with the fireworks starting at around 9:00pm.

For making utility payments, there will be a 24/7 self-serving kiosk outside the main entrance of City Hall, but the kiosk only accepts cash, credit and debit cards.
