Governor Hobbs to give “State of the State” in Yuma

The event is on Friday, July 7, but the last day to buy tickets is Wednesday, June 28

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - Governor Hobbs is coming to Yuma for her first "State of the State" address in the desert southwest, and the community is invited.

You can register for your seat at the luncheon here.

The "State of the State" is held annually by the Yuma County Chamber of Commerce.

This year’s event is a full luncheon at Arizona Western College and will include a speech by Governor Hobbs.

Tickets this year are $100 as the chamber said this is an important fundraiser, and every dollar of profit will go toward their mission.

“Our funding comes from membership dues and events like this," Kim Kahl said. "So by charging a little bit more than it costs us we are able to use that money to provide programs and services to our businesses and help them prosper and grow.”
