MLK parade march in Yuma

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - If you have the day off Monday for Martin Luther King Jr. Day and are looking for something fun to do in Yuma to honor MLK, there is a parade around the city.

The parade begins at 11 a.m. Monday near Union Baptist Church and will end at the Martin Luther King Junior Youth Career Center.

This is a map of the parade route.

Families and friends are encouraged to bring blankets or chairs.

The roads in the area may be temporarily closed to allow for passage of the parade and march.

Traffic nearby may be congested.
