City of San Luis appoints Council Member as Vice Mayor

SAN LUIS, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - During the Special City Council meeting, Mayor-Elect Nieves Riedel and the city council appointed Luis E. Cabrera to be Vice Mayor for the city.

From a press release, during the meeting, Riedel recommended to have Cabrera serve as her Vice Mayor.

Afterwards, the council approved the motion by a unanimous vote.

"I am grateful for the opportunity to continue serving my community in this new role. I will ensure to support our new council with the knowledge I have acquired," stated Cabrera.
