12th annual Scary & Safe Trick-or-Treat event coming soon

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - The Yuma Police Department (YPD) announced that the "Scary & Safe Trick-or-Treat" event is on Halloween night.

For further context, the event starts on Monday, October 31 at the Yuma County Fairgrounds from 5:00pm to 8:00pm.

This event is in collaboration with Yuma County Fair Inc., the City of Yuma, public agencies, and others. These groups come together to give away "tricks or treats."

Furthermore, this event is a tradition for the benefit of the children of Yuma and YPD hopes they can continue this for years to come.

Moreover, the admission fee is $1.00 per person. Hotdogs, soda, chips, and water will $4.00 a combo. All proceeds go to the Arizona Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics.
