Art Walk in Yuma Saturday

KYMA

A local business wants to invite the public to witness the beauty of art

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KSWT) - By far one of the purest forms of communication is art. Carvings on a cave wall can withstand the test of time, giving us a glimpse into the past.

Art is everywhere and everyone is an artist in their own way. But, in order for art to thrive it needs nurturing.

That's why the team at Stranded Ink Tattoo decided that they wanted to give local artists center stage. They want the public to discover these diamonds in the rough.

So, On Saturday, April 9, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. the public's invited to Stranded Ink Tattoo (3795 W. 22nd Lane #11) to see firsthand what our local artists have created.

The event is free to both the artists and the public. Owner Stephani Espino says that it's important to support our local artists and anyone looking to express themselves.

Espino says that the community's support is essential to what they're doing and they'll always do their part to support those around them.
