A local car club is hosting a water drive to help people in need

Southwest Street Scene Car Club is hosting a Water Drive on June 5, 2021, to help the local shelter

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - As the mercury rises, so does the need for water. But, during a pandemic, where donations have run dry, the need is even greater.

The Crossroads Mission has been pleading with the public for donations of water. The latest group to answer their call is Southwest Street Scene Car Club.

Southwest Street Scene Car Club is no stranger to paying it forward, making it their mission to help anyone that needs help. So, come June 5, 2021, they'll be hosting a water drive and asking for both water and monetary donations.

The group has teamed up with Bill Alexander Flightline Mazda-Mitsubishi and will host the event at their location at 1350 E. 32nd Street starting at 11 a.m.
