Teen vaccinations planned for South County students

Collaboration between San Luis and Somerton cities

YUMA COUNTY, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - The City of San Luis and City of Somerton are planning a vaccine event for 16 to 18-year-old residents, Saturday, May 15.

Participating minors must be accompanied by an adult. Vaccines will be provided at the Somerton Middle School Gym, 1011 N Somerton Ave., from 9 a.m. - 2 p.m.

Both cities took appointments over the phone Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. For additional questions, citizens of both cities may call (928) 314-9150.

This is the first event the County of Yuma has seen geared specifically toward young adolescents.
