Hundreds gathered today at Historic Downtown Yuma for the 2020 Yuma Medjool Date Festival.

Th festival celebrated dates covered in chocolate, nuts, and baked into breads. Dates are known to thrive in Yuma's sunny climate.

Attendees also enjoyed live music, community performances and chef demonstrations.
