Cooler temps expected at the end of the week

YUMA COUNTY, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY, KSWT)- Dry weather, clear skies and above normal afternoon temperatures will continue into Tuesday.

According to the National Weather Service (NWS), a weak disturbance will then mostly pass to our north on Wednesday resulting in an increase in clouds and a slight dip in temperatures.

Another upper level disturbance should then pass through the region late Thursday into early Friday bringing a few light showers to lower desert areas and light snow to the high country.

Below normal temperatures are also favored late this week and into the weekend.
