Law enforcement agencies on scene of potential standoff in El Centro

EL CENTRO, Calif. (KYMA) - There was heavy law enforcement presence Monday afternoon on Cruickshank Road, between Highway 111 and Dogwood Road.

News 11 had a reporter at the scene, but we were told to leave the area for our safety.

No word on what exactly led up to the standoff.

News 11 reached out to law enforcement for more information and we're waiting to hear back.
