Young man shot six times in El Centro

EL CENTRO, Calif. (KYMA, KECY) - A young man is in critical condition after being shot six times in El Centro Tuesday morning.

The incident happened in the areas of Adams Avenue and Eighth Street around 4 a.m.

El Centro police said the young man was taken to a hospital outside of Imperial County.

The El Centro Police Department said the suspect is still at large.

Police are still investigating this case at this time.
