BRAWLEY, Calif. (KYMA, KECY) - Two men and one woman were arrested in El Centro after a home invasion in Brawley.

The Brawley Police Department said it happened Friday morning at an apartment on C and Second Street.

By noon on Friday, Brawley police had identified two men and one woman as the suspects.

Later that day, Brawley police received information that El Centro police had arrested all three of them.

Two of the suspects were booked into the Imperial County Jail.

The third suspect was taken to the hospital for medical reasons but tried to escape.

“Without completing, ended up doing something similar to what he did, and at that point, we caught up to him and finally we were able to clear him medically. And arrest him and book him to county jail,” said Chief Jimmy Duran from the Brawley Police Department.

There was one woman inside the home but she was not harmed.
